Emergency Root Canal Today... on Avastin.... should I worry?
So.... now all I keep thinking about is IF its going to bleed..where would it bleed? Not in my mouth..,.thats all sealed back up now with temp crown on top of root canal... so does it bleed anywhere else??? Also, Avastin makes for slow healing...crap, does that mean my root canal could take forever to heal with possibilities of infection???? I do not want tpo call my Onc and ask him because he is going to be mad that I did that. I was spitting blood earlier but it was NOT coming no where from inside my mouth. BUT, I had just used my Neti Pot to rinse my nasal passages and blood could have come from there and been in my throat??? I seen ENT yesterday and have large scabby sores DEEP in sinus canal that keeps bleeding.... Avastin related.
I just want tpo make sure you cannoy bleed internally from a root canal. Does anyone know???? LOL...man, I have the stupidest stuff happen to me... Any comments would be appreciated...thanks guys!!!

so sorry
Hi Jennie,
So sorry you had to go through that! I don't know about the bleeding, but I'd definitely let your onc know asap what you had done, if you haven't already, so he's aware.
You take care and hopefully you'll feel better now that the yuck stuff under the tooth is out.
Hugs,

Your onc may want to skip the Avastin the next couple of rounds
Please let him know asap. He understands that there are emergencies, and this was one. Would they have not removed your appendix because of the Avastin?
You had no choice - your onc will understand.
Feel better!
Sending a big hug your way!
