How far do you drive for your treatments?

    Taking more like 3 hrs this summer b/c of all the traffic and construction. Wouldn't have it any other way, though. Staying where I am for treatment would not be good.

    I drove about 45 minutes to treatments, but I could have chosen a place only 5 minutes away.

    I knew people at the treatment center I chose who were driving three hours.

    I just counted my blessings:
    --that I had a choice of one of the best treatment centers in the state
    --that it was a reasonable distance away
    and
    --that my DH drove me to every single treatment!!

    Very close!!
    I'm about a mile away from my Cancer Center. The hospital, radiation, chemo, surgeon and PCP are all in the same building. Couldn't have been more convenient for me! I felt very lucky to have been treated at this amazing place!

    We drive a hour one way to treatment. It isn't a bad drive but I wish it was shorter.
