Seeking information for a good friend
I am here for a good friend who is a lung cancer patient. She has been on Alimta for the past 15 months (and folic acid & B12 shots). She went for a PET Scan and some areas lit up. Her doctor operated last Thursday and removed 3 spots. He said the biopsy reported cancer and this is a new cancer not a recurrence. He cut out all with good margins. They are planning to have her tissue typed for genetic testing. The final diagnosis is "Right Upper Lobe Wedge resection #1 adenocarcinoma with bronchoaleolar features with 2 lesions. Stage 4 /non small cell. I would like to know what she should ask the oncologists when she meets with them next week. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Questions
Hi, Lizzy,
Well, I guess the obvious question would be "What treatment(s) do you recommend, and why?", "Are there any clinical trials that I fit into?". If possible, your friend should have someone with her to take notes or at least help her remember the info from the doctor. Other questions will pretty much depend on what the doc says...
my best to your friend, and you too, for helping her,
