Good for you!
I've been waiting to see how you did on the mammo!! Hip hip hooray!! And the port out, too!! I know what you mean about not having to go to doc appointments, etc. It feels really weird for a while but then you get back to your "new" normal way of life.
BTW, I live down state and totally know about the winds we've been having. Sorry about no power...that really is a bummer!
Have a great day!!

Hi Linda
I am very happy for you! It is kinda a strange feeling when it's "over" isn't it! I see my onc every 3 months now, and I'm likin it. Starting to find the new "normal" as they say. Not so sure about "normal" but finding "me" again is proving to be quite a journey. God bless..alison0 -

Linda .. This is what I call 'getting back to normal"fauxma said:Congrats on all the good
Congrats on all the good stuff.
we wake up ready to take on the day, within minutes we realize that we have no doctor's appointments, or scans .. what no chemo or rad's. It feels werid, not normal. In time you will enjoy that tea or first cup of coffee while reading the newspaper or watching your local news channel. Then you get up, get dressed and take on your day - hap hap happy.
Congratulations and welcome back to 'normal'. Enjoy!~

Congrats
Congratulations on finishing up with treatment, getting a clear mammogram reading, and getting your port removed! What a wonderful feeling! You have finished with a marathon of treatments and can know slow down and catch your breathe. God bless.

Sisters of the Same State
Way to go Linda! If I'm reading between the lines correctly I think I'm directly across the state from you. It so refreshing to hear the "good news" at the end of a treacherous journey. I've yet to get started with my TC chemo and the joy that followes and love reading the happy tales I have to look forward to
May you continue CLEAR and kicking tushies!!
Blessings and hugs,
Stace0 -
