Mentoring correction
In my earlier post I incorrectly refer to a mentor as someone who is going thru the same or similar stage as you are going thru.............A mentor is someone who has previously gone thru the same or similar stage as you are going thru. This is a good source for the newbies to get direct person to person answers to your questions and/or to speak with someone who understands what you are going thru.0 -

If you google 4th angel mentoring you will find out about the progam which is part of the Cleveland Clinic website. You can request a mentor by filing out a form online under "request a mentor". You can also call 866.520.3197 for questions. I have spoken with Lori Doonan in the past and I believe she is in charge of matching patients with mentors and they also match caregivers with mentors. They try and match the patient and the mentor by age, gernder, type of cancer and stage, so a patient with kidney cancer would be matched with a mentor who had a similar experience with Kidney Cancer etc.0
