I GUESS YOU KNOW BY NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER A$$HOLE ON HERE TRYING TO SELL THE SAME CRAP,PROBABLY THE SAME PERSON WITH A DIFFERENT NAME. I FLAGGED A FEW ALREADY. IT IS REALLY MESSING UP THINGS FOR ME. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THIS SITE HAD SPAM FILTERS.THEN AGAIN HOW WOULD THEY KNOW SPAM FROM JUST REGULAR POST? THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRACE THE SOURCE AND PRESS CHARGES. UNLESS THE IDIOT IS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY. THEN THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. DOESN'T IT SEEM LIKE THE LAWS WORK FOR THE CRIMINAL? THE HELL WITH THE INNOCENT BYSTANDERS. WELL,TIME TO PUT AWAY THE SOAPBOX. JOHN (FNHL-1-4A-5/10) REMISSION
Oh by the way,I am not one to talk politics, but got it from a reliable source that if the Democrats win the vote on Nov.2nd our fearless leader and botox Pelosi(check out her fathers book, former Mayor of Balto. Thomas D'alesandro Jr. and tell me we are not headed for Communism) have a bill for them to sign on the 3rd of Nov. to pass a 25 cent federal gas tax hike, along with several other tax increases. Then the 1st of the year all gas price restrictions are to be lifted. SNEAKY,SNEAKY,SNEAKY!!!!!

    UGH!
    Hi John,
The spam idiot really ticked me off and made it hard to keep up with any new postings. It happened on all of the other discussion boards and many of them were as mad as us...UGH! As you know, Washington is a "Blue" state, so we are pretty much screwed all of the time. The "bleeding heart lib's" west of the Cascades..(Seattle, Olympia) control where all of the money gets funneled too,so you know which side of the Cascades profits the most. Hope like hell to change all of that and get Obama's ("anything you want Barack") Patty Murray voted out...not holding my breath though...I guess we will have to wait and see what Nov 2nd brings.Did you watch John Stossels special on Fox News last night? It was pretty eye opening and very interesting. Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Yuk!!!!
    Sue,
Seems like Fox News runs all the time here,(Hannity,O'Reilly,Glen Beck,Cavuto, etc.etc) but I did miss John Stossel last night. I lay in the bedroom and watch old westerns most of the time at night. The other half is glued to FOX NEWS. I don't know what is going to happen and even if the Republicans will do anything or not. I do know the real American people better get off their a$$e$ before the swinging bleeding heart liberals give the rest of it away. The 3 stooges have to go. (Obama,Pelosi and Reid)He said we need change but never said what kind of change did he. Well, now we see where the change is headed. Hopefully this garbage can come to a stop in a couple of weeks. Now, I guess the government will flag this and confiscate my computer. DEMOCRACY,RIGHT???? John

And I thought that all you guys wanted to be politically correct. Glad to know there are a few rational people here. I will do my best to stay off of my soapbox, but I hope everyone here is preparing for the worst as far as our nation and economy goes. I do think it gets worse before it gets better. There will be stalemate for the next 2 years while the current socialists continue to sap our country's strength, and we may need to have thought about how to prepare for it. Sad thing is - what's needed to actually FIX our country will also really, really hurt a lot of people. I don't think that any of the D.C. a$$#@(s will be strong enough to actually do the right thing.
Sorry, I'm not very optimistic when it comes the general corruption of every level of our government.

But, at the same time, we have to get through our own battles. Two wars for us. Thanks to all for having my back.

    Politically Correct
    Tom,
We are correct!!! "Politically Correct" is just another way of saying someone doesn't have the b@lls to say and do whats right. Its just a word the bleeding heart liberals love to use. You know the ignorant fools that are giving the country away. Yes, you are correct, things are going to get worse if and I mean if they get ever get better. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are just a joke anymore. You and I and the older group know this is not the same country that was here when we were growing up. There is so much I could say but I know it would be red flagged and removed. No telling what else. You know just because a person is paranoid don't mean its not real. John

Sorry to offend you but it does help to break the ice once in a while. It helps me to feel a little more comfortable with the group. I will be sure to talk strictly cancer from now on.

    Hi John,
Possibly one could post a new discussion and title it Politics NOT Cancer related. This way, those that didn't want to participate could just ignore this topic and scroll on to topics of their choice. Just a thought. Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Not cancer related
    Sue,
That idea already crossed my mind before I responded to Leslie. Then I was thinking that this is a cancer forum so somebody will be offended in one way or the other. That is a great suggestion though. Like I said I was getting a little ticked with the idiot that was putting stuff on here for sale that cared nothing about our well-being in the least. Thought I was breaking the ice for myself and everybody else. I really care about this site and everyone on it,but it does feel good to get other stuff off our mind as well. At least it does for me. When I hear other peoples views about the world situation and their home projects it makes me feel more at ease with everybody and somewhat closer to a worldwide family. Better stop here I am getting off the forum subject. Take care and be talking to you. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    Sorry also...
I'm also sorry if my political comments up-set anyone. It certainly wasn't my intention. I asked Steve what his opinion was and he said he didn't think it would be wise to discuss politics or religion on a cancer site like this. He said.."why risk making someone feel un-comfortable when they are already dealing with so much." He's right... I knew I married him for more than his good looks and charm...he's smart too. Sorry Leslie..being a friend and giving love and support when people are in need is what we are here for.

    STILL HERE
    Sue,
Just wanted to let you know I'm still here checking and reading all the posts everyday. I have not deserted you guys. I said I would be around here and I will. Just don't feel like posting anything that is not directly aimed at lymphoma. Never know who may be offended. I have noticed some really down post lately and that is fine. Thats what this site is for. People want to get their feelings and problems out in the open. Some are real tear jerkers to say the least. I have been sitting here for about an hour typing and deleting so as not to get off the site subject. Its so hard for me to do it that way. It is so hard to have a positive outlook if there is no humor or everyday antics added. I am not saying what we are dealing with is not serious, because I know it is. Like I was saying before we all or most all of us are like the ducks on the pond and we all know it. Starting to get to far off the site objective so take care and I will be here. If I can help in any way, just ask and I will try my best to answer any questions. Now I am going back to hide in my room, haha, just had to throw that in there. Good Luck next Tuesday. You will do fine. John (fnhl-1-4a-5/10)

    Taking a breather..
    Hi John,
I figured you were just taking a little breather after finishing all of your treatments. So far so good for me...still got my hair and my taste buds..(knock on wood)! Tomorrow is round 4..labs at 9:00...doctor at 9:15 and chemo at 9:30. I have a list of questions for my onc, so chemo might be a bit later. Did your family have a good Halloween? We didn't have hardly any kids show up, so I'm stuck with candy still...(chewing as I type)..ha! I think I've been on a sugar high since we bought the candy 3 weeks ago...ha! The holidays are fast upon us, so I'm thinkin the time is going to fly by for me. I just L-O-V-E now through December...I wouldn't even mind if we got a nice snow fall. It's all part of the seasons, so why not. Well...tomorrow is a big day all across the country...be sure to watch the news...ha! Ok...I better get off of here and fold up my last load of clothes in the dryer. I knew you were lurking in the background and not very far away John...had no doubt! I'll post tomorrow night how treatment goes. Take care John, and enjoy this peaceful no treatment time!(lucky duck)!ha! Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    1 MONTH WITH NO TREATMENTS
    Sue,
I am on here at least 4 times a day checking the posts and seeing a lot of new people.I am not going to desert all the ones that stuck with me thru all this. We don't get trick or treaters. We live out in the country a 1/4 mile off the road. Houses are spotty out here. Got soybean, cornfields and tobacco farms all around us. Don't even bother to buy any candy. I been thinking about all of you with the treatments coming up. You are pass the 1/2 way mark now and the next 3 will go pretty fast. I am sure you will have some more down days as the treatments go along. Hopefully not too many down days. I actually felt like I was dragging across the finish line. Didn't realize how much I was dragging till after I started getting my strenght back. Thats all normal for chemo. I really feel like I was lucky with the treatments. Never had a lot of the symtoms so many others had. Looks like you are following the same path so far. You will do fine tomorrow with the normal tiredness after you get home. The r-cvp seems to be the one with the less after effects. Its midnight here so I better get off and go to bed. Good luck tomorrow and be thinking of ya. John (FNHL-1-4A-5/10) REMISSION

    Hi John,
Glad to see your still around. You have always had great advice for me and I thank you for that. Happy to hear that your getting some of your strength back. Hopefully you will be feeling tip top by the end of the year. Just remember to take it slow and don't rush yourself. You still may have a lot of low energy days sneak in. Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you..

    Lisha,
Yea, I am still here. I never went anywhere. Was on here at least 4 times a day reading and checking all the posts. Been watching your posts with your mother in law worries. Hey John,

Good to hear from you. As you know, you've been very helpful to me and I really appreciate your posts. Glad to hear that you are gaining strength. I'm nearing the end myself. I go in for my fifth infusion on Thursday.

I don't recall, are you on some sort of maintenance now that you've had the all clear signal?

    Thanks for being here.

    MAINTENANCE RITUXAN
    Tom,
Yes, I have to go in every 6 months for 2 years for the rituxan. Just glad it is not considered chemo. It is an antibody serum. I checked with the Dr. about that. I have to go every 2 months for the port flush. Strenght gets a little more each day. I do notice I have a little dry eye syndrone going on. Hopefully that will go away soon. My eyes don't feel itchy, just tired especially in the sunlight. I found that this is a normal thing too. John (FNHL-1-4A-5/10)

    Tom, maintenance
If I remember correctly, you are going through R-CHOP for DLBC, NHL. My scans were clear after my 6th r-chop, 10/06/10 and my port will be removed tomorrow, no maintenance for my DLBC, NHL. Kellie
