Always cold

cold
Hi Dan, I hate the cold. My wife hates it too, we also avoid places like restruants that keep it too cool. My hands and feet are the worst. I'm just finishing chemo and it seems to me that my feet are like ice cubes. When I was a little kid I used to sleep in my socks. Guess what? Slept with my socks on last night, first time in probably 40 years. Feet stayed warm!!! Not to say it's from chemo or from cancer, could be a circulation problem or a few other things. Just want to say I know how it is but don't want to blame it on cancer because I've always been cold. And always hated it.
Wishing you warmth and wellness,

Icy feet!
I'm always cold, too, and it's definitely been since treatments started. I'm sure my circulation is probably not up to par, either. At work, I have a little ceramic heater that I guard jealously, and in the hot months I have to wear sweaters because my desk is directly under an air vent and I freeze!
At home, even in the summer my feet get cold. I've had a night time ritual of heating a damp dishtowel in the microwave (in a big ziploc bag) to put by my feet - now I have a heating pad, too, sends me right off to sleep - warm feet, warm back = heaven... Possibly cheaper to get a couple of cats - they look prettier and make happy sounds!0 -

I'm with you Deb, definitely after cancer treatments. Cold air blowing on me makes my upper back hurt. 72 degrees out today and wearing tee shirt under sweat shirt. .... Also a cat lover..... Dan0 -

They have electric blankets in Florida? What for??
Don't electric blankets give cats static??
Wish you all well,
groundhog
Yikes! Sure does get cold! The longer you live here the colder you get (figure that one out). Has something to do with thinning blood.
As for the cats, I just pick one up, rub it against the wall and it sticks!
