anyone lose weight on tamoxifen?

I have probably lost 10 lbs. I have not changed anything of my eating habits. My Doc. said to expect weight gain. I am waiting.

    I have lost 45 pounds since starting Tamoxifen, however, I have incorporated diet and exercise and more water. I call it the fear diet - fear of cancer returning and do anything so it can't. I eat a lot healthier, but enjoy food a lot more. I don't crave the bad stuff nearly as much. I wish I didn't have to try, but I do. Good luck.

    My sister
    took Tamoxifen for 5 years and didn't gain any weight. She is quite thin so I don't think she lost any either. Don't knock it, be happy :-)

    gained 25 lbs on tamoxfen
    But also took steriods at the same time & a bit prior to radiation. So could be combo of both. Off steriods now and over past 2 yrs....just recently lost 10 lbs doing nothing diffent
