Yea!!
Glad you got good news!! I am so happy for you. I have been on Tamoxifen for 2 months, side effects I have had have been irritable and moody (have gotten better) and hot flashes. I know some people have other SE's but I can live with it for the added benefits. Congratulations and God Bless

I couldn't be happier for you! What wonderful news from your oncologist :-) I hope you tolerate the Tamoxifen well. My sister took it but she was older than you. She did not have any side effects except hot flashes. Hoping the journey brings you to NED next year......
How's your mom doing?

I am soooooo happy for you, my friend. Time to celebrate and finish your new boobs!!!! Hugs, Jean
Heather, sounds like super news you got from your doctor, but it leads me to a question. Why are you going to be on Tamoxifen if you are ER-/PR- ?
Congrats too on finishing chemo.

I was going to ask the same thing. If you are weak her2 positive it would seem that you would get herceptin. If you are ER positive you would get tamoxifen????? Anyway congratualtions on finishing and good reports. I have been on tamoxifen for 4 months I have hot flashes at night. other wise its been fine, and I was really nervous about it. hope it goes well for you too.0 -
Awesome!!!!
So glad to hear this! Hopefully I'll be joining you in that dance a few months down the road. Congratulations!
God bless!

Triple Negative/Tamoxifen
First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I was ready to start a thread about being technically triple negative but being recommended for tamoxifen (I still might) but Donna is also getting recommended for tamoxifen. According to her oncologist, there are new guidlines coming out, and although not out yet, everyone knows what they are going to say. Specifically, that weak er/pr positives should receive tamoxifen. Glad to hear that someone else is receiving the same recommendation.
Again Congratsssssss!!!!!!!!!!!
