Hello All, This site has meant a lot to me over the last few months. I have learned so much and been so encouraged. Since I had been through ec treatment ,I wanted to be here for others facing it--to help in some small way.I know you all care so much for each other and that is why I wanted to share my report.
I went to the oncologists today for results on my six month CT scan. It was not as good as the others. It indicated I had multiple new lymph nodes, which were small, in the chest area, and also two lung nodules.
I will have a pet scan on Wed.with follow-up with oncologists next Wed.
Please keep me in your prayers. Today, I am very scared, even though I know God is with me and always holding my hand. I lean on this promise "Isaih 41,13.

Thanks Sandra

    Have Faith
    Dear Sandra

I just read your mail. I know how you feel and sometimes it is so hard to stay positive but we have to. The PET scan should be more accurateFaith in God will get you through this.
My husband starts his Chemo tomorrow and we are also so scared. Please know that we are thinking and praying for you. You have been doing so well so this may be just a tiny minor setback. I really hope so.
    Please let us all know

Will be praying for you on Wednesday
    Sandy,

I am sorry to hear about the results of your recent scan. We all go to our periodic check ups with the anxiety that the results may not be what we hope. If the news is not positive it is hard to maintain our positive perspective.

I think it helps to remember that the reason for these periodic checkups is to catch a recurrence early; before it has time to spread widely. It sounds like in your case it did. It also helps to remember we have been through chemotherapy once and we can do it again if necessary. And this time we will know what to expect and not be as frightened by side effects as we were the first time.

I will be praying that the follow up results from the PET scan define a promising treatment plan.

    Best Regards,

    Praying for You
    Hello Sandy
I am in agreement with all of the others. You are on the right track, you have caught this cancer early. That is the key. Catch it early, kill it early. I too will be thinking and praying for you daily and extra on Wednesday! Let us know how all goes.

    CT Scan
Sandra, I, for one, know your encouraging words have been helpful to us and we have appreciated your posts and replies. Your have certainly been there for us.

We have had the "scare" and then had the spot end up being something benign. It does happen. And should you need to be treated, good for you getting those scans and having a head start on anything that shows up! Bob will be getting his first scan in a few weeks and we start our scanxiety.

You are in our prayers and we want to be there for you, too! Linda
