Brother Gone

Hi all:

Basketcase checking in. First, let me say a big thanks to all of your comments, prayers, etc. My brother Richard did pass away at about 3:30 this afternoon. I talked with my sister-in-law last night and she told me this was very hard, a lot harder than she expected. I well know what she means and how she feels. Even though we knew Charlie's situation was not good, we still didn't think he would go as soon as he did and it was a shock. And I just realized with Richard's passing today; it is exactly 8 weeks ago today that Charlie passed away. This is just a little too much to bear, but will make it through because of GOd first, my friends and family and especially y'all, my csn buds (that's what I refer to y'all as). This network is so fantastic and such a comfort to me now and always. Take care. I wish there could be some sort of csn bud gathering or reunion. Y'all are so very dear to me. Love as always, thanks once again and please continue to be in prayer for my brother's family and the rest of us! God Bless!

    Very sorry Jan, you are a survivor, though I know times have been very tough for you these last several months. I'm glad that we can be here for you even though it's over the internet..we are by your side. Thoughts, Prayers, Faith, Family, Friends and Buds....

    I ache for you. You have an awful lot to bear right now; knowing that you can bear it doesn't take the pain away, I know. Very sorry you are going through another hard loss so soon. Hoping for peace and strength for you. Keep us updated on how you're doing.

    ...you show grace and dignity as you face great losses. Again, you are amazing for keeping all of us in your life, allowing us to offer our prayers and words of sympathy. I am sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Richard as you are still in deep grief of Charlie. Surround yourself with those who you love and who love you...like all of us here...one day at a time.

    Jan,

    No words that I type here can relieve the pain that you and your family feel today. I can only share in all the posts and words that have been posted above. That I have sent Prayers out for all of you.

    But, you have already stated in your words how you feel and how you are going to handle everything that has been sent your way.     Jan, I lost my sister to a brain aneurysum some years ago. It a difficult, difficult loss - so fast, so shocking, so unexpected and on top of all you have already been through. My hope and prayer is that you have some peace, respite and uninterrupted time to mourn and regroup. Blessings to you.
