Love your posts and remarks about my 24 lb turkey. Well got all the fixings for tomorrow and turkey is still defrosting. We have a freezer in our garage that we keep 4 turkeys for throughout the year. January, May, August, October and then again in November for Thanksgiving. Make sure that turkey is served not only on Thanksgiving but throughtout the year. With 8 kids, it's hard to get everyone home, but with the Turkey they always seem to come home Got a 8 lb ham to go with it. You are still welcome to come here. We are a great bunch of fun loving people. I even have my own karaoke business if you care to sing LOL. Thanks for asking. Hope to see you at my front door.

Christmas 2011 is fine for me Christmas dinner is chicken, stuffed mushrooms, cheesy garlic bread, ham, spinach dip, hot dog dips, vegetable tray, mashed potatoes, salad, cheese tray with summer sausage, rolls, etc. But just a bunch of stuff. You are welcome to come. We really have a great group with 8 kids and 10 grandkids, we always invite my husbands ex wife believe it or not. We get along so she is always involved with our kids life and her for Christmas. Pepe when you coming? You would love my turkey.

ahhh Kim you got me in the mood for turkey. As you know our Canadian Thanksgiving was last weekend. I was so paralyzed with thoughts of scans and docs and oncs that we did not do a bird. Today we decided would be our turkey day.

Our bird is just a tiny 12 pounder for two. There will be potatoes and brussel sprouts, cranberries and pie. Just haven't worked out the whole menu.

We are West of Detroit. Not sure where Detour is. Grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan though.

Turkey
Hey Pepe, just wanted you to know that the bird turned out so moist and everyone enjoyed it. Took the little leftovers we had, with the mashed potatoes and made two turkey dinners for husband and I and froze it. We will then have a ready made meal when we desire the turkey. Next dinner party is Thanksgiving. So are you coming over? Can't believe your ovens don't hold a 24lb turkey. We can cook that and stuffing and green bean caserole all in the same oven. Would love to visit Barcelona some time.
