Prayers Needed
Basketcase here. Just wanted to ask for your prayers. Here it is almost 8 weeks since Charlie passed away and now my brother Richard who lives in Chattanooga had a massive hemorrhage of the brain late Tues. night. He's the one who came down here and did what I needed done around my house two weeks ago and had had a physical that week and declared disgustingly healthy. THis is just a little too much to handle with two in less than 8 weeks. He is in a hospital in Huntsville as the hospitals in CHatt were full and because he is on life support and some federal reg. with life support he has to be in a hospital where there are neurosurgeons and beds. He is not totally brain dead but close. He has not regained consciousness since this happened. The doctors say that his wife needs to be thinking about whether to turn off the life support or place him in a nursing home. He was 67 in Sept. He was supposed to come down today to finish up some things and I did talk to him on Tuesday. Please pray for us and my sister-in-law and my niece and nephew. This really hard as it looks like in less than two years time I will have lost a husband and two brothers. Thanks so much. Love y'all and God Bless!
Jan

I am so sorry to hear what is happening with your brother. You are right, all of these tremendous losses, so close together...unbearable. Know that a prayer has been sent up for your brother and your family. You are thoughtful to keep us in your life.

Jan, I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. We just don't know why some people are asked to bear so much. It's impossible to understand.
Prayers for your brother, family and you.
You're in my thoughts

Jan,
I am in Huntsville. My brother passed away from a reperfussive stroke in May of this year - the day before we got my husband's diagnosis of hypopharyngeal cancer.
Please let me know of anything I can do to help.
Prayers being lifted.
And hugs to you, Jan.0 -

so sorry
So sorry for you, your brother and family. Life seems to pile on us at times. Will do light a candle, say a prayer for all of you. I've been through this with my sister, so I know it's a draining hour by hour ordeal - take care of yourself.

We are all so sorry!
I am so very sorry for what you are going through. I cannot believe all you are having to bear, especially in such a short time. Please know that the prayers of me and my family are with you, as are the prayers of so many on this board. Keep us posted and let us help as much as we possibly can.
Love and prayers,
Myka0
