    Happy Thanksgiving back atcha!! :D
Thanks, Anne... and a very Happy Thanksgiving right back at you and your family :)

I'm thinking it's going to be a very wet Thanksgiving weekend for us on the Wet Coast ;) It's just after 11:30pm on Friday night and the rains have started, although they do say that they may stop by late morning and not start up again until tomorrow night. That would be kind of nice since I have a day of shopping with girlfriends, then we are going out for dinner, then having a slumber party downtown at the Hyatt Regency Hotel tomorrow night. The reason we are doing this is that my 3 friends' daughters are participating in a dance conference at the hotel, where dancers from "So You Think You Can Dance (Canada)?" will be there to teach various classes all weekend. So while the girls are doing their dance thing, us gals are going to be shopping and chatting, etc. Fun day/evening!

Sunday, I'm off to another friend's for the actual Thanksgiving dinner, turkey bird and all the trimmings. As a matter of fact, I baked a large Pumpkin Cheesecake tonight which now needs to chill for 24-36 hours... and that is what it is doing... chillin' as we speak :)

Soooo, it should be a fun weekend of good friends, good food!

I hope all my fellow Canadians are going to have a good Thanksgiving too!

hi pepe...usually I feed about 15 but this year there was the dreaded ct scan on this Tuesday past....so then i started thinking....what IF? so on sunday and today just 4...my husband daughter and her fiance.
Then on Monday a kind friend jumped in to say she would do Thanksgiving and at that party we will be about 16 people and every single one of those people has a cancer connection...some have lost husbands or wives to cancer so needless to say we are a very tightly knit group of friends

Happy Gobble Gobble Weekend my dear friend!!
And, of course to all our other Canadian pals on the board! I hope everyone has a wonderful feast every day this weekend... we can all whine about how we ate too much and gained so much weight, next week :D But for now... enjoy!! :D

You are amazing, my friend... strapping on those boots and going for a walk in Apple Country :D:D Unfortunately, the damn chemo has done sufficient nerve damage to both legs below the knees and, especially, both feet.... so any kind of thought of hiking is not even on my personal radar. Heck, it's a challenge to go do some retail therapy damage at the malls... because I'm limited on how long I can walk around :D

BUT... today is a Girls NIGHT out! We are staying at the Vancouver (la di da) Hyatt Regency. I plan on doing some shopping since the hotel is right downtown... and who cares that they are predicting rain and wind... all the malls downtown are all underground so one doesn't have to be up at street level and wandering around in the elements :D

Tonight we all are going out for dinner... then it will be back to the hotel for possible nightcaps in one of the many lounges, or back to one of our rooms to play games and laugh!

That's just Day 1 of this Thanksgiving weekend... I hope all of our Canuckian friends on the board have wonderful plans too!

    Happy T-Day!!! Gobble Gobble!
