OOOhhh OOOhhh OOOhhh Question Scar Tissue

A post just made me take a pause and think.
I know I'll ask my onc in three weeks, but heck, seems like some of you know already.
I'm wondering about scar tissue, I just saw a post about that, and it set me wondering.
Can they kind of mess up scar tissue with cancer? (okay I know I have cancer, and it's in the colon and liver from biopsies, but maybe the uterus cancer could be scar tissue?)
I know I might have a bit, because when I was 21 and had my daughter, when they did the c-section they discovered the wonderful Air Force doctor had cut a few places, including bladder, uterus etc., and they had all fused together, so I ended up with 8 hours of surgery to repair the damages and sew everything back into it's normal place, (plus 10 days in the hospital), so can scar tissue be seen as cancer tumors?
And I ask this question because I forgot about that, and my onc doesn't know, same with a burst tubal pregnancy, I had that happen with a three month embryo, I don't even know how you list that as a surgery? Does that cause scar tissue? Dang, how does one forget about those surgeries?

    After surgeries, you are full of scar tissue
    I know that during my second surgery, some of the "questionable tissue" that my onc removed turned out to be scar tissue resulting from my prior surgery. As it doesn't look "normal" it falls under "questionable". Hopefully, with your history, that's all it is for you.

    Yes Maam it can be misconstrued as cancer..
    I am thinking that it shows up as a lighted area much like cancer cells after a dose of Fructose (sugar) do...They absorb it faster so it lights up more than normal cells and sometimes the scar tissue is misdiagnosed being it sometimes shows very lightened as well........Buzz

    Thank you Abrub and Buzzard, I'll be writing these surgeries down in notebook so I don't forget to tell the Oncs.
    I'm feeling better about some of those "lighted" areas already!!!!

    My latest PET Scan mentions two of the three spots that light up are next to surgical clips. I've thought that really odd. Did your Doctor suggest that as well?

    That would be wonderful for me, but given my rise in CEA, I'm not betting the farm on that. Traci
