Today.. Got CT results on Cyberknife

Hey Everybody!!!

Got a CT scan today for follow-up after Cyberknife last month. Doc says he is very pleased and considers it a complete success. Only a little spot remains in the area and he said that is scar tissue. I did not realize that my air passage had been slightly blocked due to the location of the tumor in the Hilum area. I now have 100% clearance there. My CEA was a little over 10 at the time of the procedure and now is just below 6. This is a nice little breather for me so I can kick back and enjoy PALOOZA!!!!! PARTY!!!! Woot..Woot!!

Looking forward to starting a whole new game plan when I get back. Chemo .... maintenance or otherwise.... is NOT going to continue to be a part of my life. Alternatives here I come!!! Thank you all for your continued support.

    That is wonderful news and glad that you are up for the convention 8. You have come some hard roads but have seem to be beating them down with your determination. You go girl and you are always in my prayers.

    Thanks for that Kim. I read what you posted about your blood counts. I gotta say.... you look SOOOOOOO healthy in this pic of you.     such great news!
    You really deserve this good news! Sounds like you are really ramping up for a fight of a different kind, one that you believe will strengthen your body for life! That's awesome! And what better way to begin such a journey than to gather strength from fellow semis! Hope everybody takes lots of pictures, then posts them, so those of us that can't travel can live vicariously through those who are able. I will be with you guys in spirit!

    Your comment on not realizing your airway had been affected by the hilum node makes me wonder about myself- I have a hilar node that is pretty active & although I don't think of my airway as blocked, I do get short of breath quickly. I'm wondering if this may be affecting it. Hmmm...
    But, anyhow, I'm so excited for you- you go!!
