Janelle, your feelings are so normal.
So sorry you're feeling this way, but I've been there as I'm sure so many others have. I've finished 2 surgeries, chemo, rads and am facing mammo/ultrasound next week. Some days are very scary, some days are better. I've been taking Zoloft almost since diagnosis last Nov. and have been seeing a psychologist for about 2 months. Both are helping--especially the therapy sessions. Somehow if feels good to just let out any feelings I'm having to a stranger--who can't judge me and who I don't have to feel "upbeat and positive" for all the time. She helps me understand that my feelings are normal, valid and helps me to put things in perspective.
I hope you reach out if you need to--all of us who've been where you have really understand.
Hugs, Renee0 -
Of course we will respond.
Of course we will respond. We are in this together and we understand what you are saying. There are many days when I feel the same way. After I was first diagnosed with the metastasis, I realized that I was having too many of those days. Of course, I was crying and, unlike you, the tears were flooding me out. I am on lexapro now and it really helps me. So if it is a rare day, ok, but if it is too often, please ask for help.0 -
So sorry
So sorry you're feeling this way. Just want you to know we're here for you, whatever we can do to help. Hopefully this will pass and you'll be smiling again soon.

I hope and pray this feeling passes quickly for you. Know we love you and are here for you sweetie.
Hugs,

that you should post because today you popped into my head. I know, it's a little odd, but once you popped in, I was wondering about your Weight Watchers and stuff like that.
Anyway, I hear you, and have felt the same. Eventually it passed as I hope for you.

More (((Hugs))) for you.
Big hugs and good thoughts are being sent to you. Sometimes it does feel like we are on an isolated emotional island. Hoping that the mood lifts. We are here for you.

Dear Janelle
I know exactly how you feel. There was a time, I was just quiet. I didn't
want to talk, didn't know what I would say. I was processing everything.
The chinese think that the turtle is a very strong animal, you wonder why?
Because it always knows when to retract into its shell to protect itself.
I understand that sometimes everything gets too much. So it is ok for
you to retract into your shell... come out whenever you are ready.
You will have plenty of shoulders to lean on and plenty of ears to chew off.
Sending you my love!!

Thank you
Thank you for your kind words and hugs. Today is a better day. Last night I talked to my #1 Adopted Doctor (the only person who has ever had a calming effect on me) and asked him to talk and brighten my day. He knows me like a book. My feelings of loneliness related to another doctor who said that she was reachable and ended up not being so reachable. I told my #1 Doctor that I wanted to write her a letter. He responded that it was a good idea to write the letter, but DO NOT MAIL IT. So...today I will write the letter but will not mail it. And...I am going to lunch with 2 girlfriends. Later my husband and I going to the theatre to see the play Daddy Long Legs. I am also looking forward to the warm 78 degree weather that the weatherman promised us (live in a northwest suburb of Chicago). Today is going to be a great day!0 -

I came across your post today after being off the forum for awhile. I feel bad not being on as much anymore. I do have those days too. Driving the schoolbus keeps my mind off things. My monitor and I get to laughing so hard, yesterday I almost had to pull over (no kids on of course!) She has alot of problems I have, not cancer related, but she helps alot. I take effexor and sometimes 1 or 2 xanax. That helps too. Its true laughter is the best medicine, though my ribs are a little sore from it! Glad you're feeling better. Its gorgeous here by St. Louis too. The trees are getting so pretty. Try watching a Dean Martin Roast on Youtube and the blues will be on their way!0 -
MEGA HUGS!!
I haven't been on the forum for a couple of days. So glad to hear you are feeling better. You are never alone. You always have your sisters on the forum and God. Don't mean to sound preachy but I know he's been there for me and he will always be there for you.
MEGA HUGS!!!!
