In surgery

My aunt is in surgery...still. Probably got another 2 hours. I hate cancer and what it takes away from us.

    Surgery
    Hi : I wish your Aunt the best. My prayers will be with her.
    Cancer is so unpredictable. My Mom died in March with colon cancer.
    I do my Cat scan and kidney function test on Dec. 1st, for Non-Hodgkins follicular Lymphoma stage 4.
    So always something to keep your nerves on edge, I really hope everything will come out well for your Aunt.

    not done
    10:30 now and she's still in surgery. Hopefully they are getting finished soon, they moved the family to another waiting room to talk to the doctor.

    9 Hour
    Well the 6 hr surgery took 9 hrs, but they got all the cancer and was able to do everything they wanted to do. They are keeping her on a respirator for 24 hrs. Hopefully she had a restful night.

    So glad to hear and I hope she has a smooth recovery and all goes well. I'll be saying some prayers. How are you holding up? Sometimes I get so tired of everything being about cancer. I've been supporting a good friend whose husband has recently been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. It's been so rough for them. URGGG I wish it would all go away for all of us. Mary

    Horrible day
    Today sucks. I can't have any food...liquid diet and colonoscopy cleansing tonight for test tomorrow. My head is killing me and I'm getting grumpy!

    Oh no!
    So it's time for that huh? Gosh the fun just keeps coming. So sorry you have to deal with this now too. Not such a good day to look forward to but thank God for naps. It would be a reading,nap and pj's day for me for sure. Hang in there and good luck with the test. Mary
