Preparing

Tomorrow my husband will be having his first MRI (been 3 months) since his bone flap removal.
At that time the tumor was 5mm (down from 4.8cm).
We will find out the results on Wednesday.
So many emotions, feelings and thoughts. Depending on what results are, will make some decisions on what is ahead for "us".
I am trying to "prepare" myself to be the rock of positiveness, support and hope no matter what the results are. Trying to prepare for worst news so if it comes, I am ready to be that rock even if mind world has shattered.
How can one "prepare" for this?

prepare
I don't think anyone can, We just go in and listen, try to ask questions. We go into it each time hoping for good news, first time was good news second time not good news but not bad, But try as hard as we can we can not prepare our selfs.
Some how we find it in the time we need it to be the rock, not easy but we do. Emotions show them we are human.
I wish you the best news ! I wish I could help you.

Praying for you
Carrie,
You will be in my thoughts and prayers - our PET/CT scan is Friday so I know where you are. I am right there with you.

Prayers
Positive thoughts and prayers your way since you'll be having one of those awful "waiting for the news" days.

Good Thoughts
I will send good thoughts your way. I don't think there is anyway to prepare. The old pray for the best and prepare for the worst never made sense to me. Besides, it is often one of those good news/bad news kind of things. I think the only way we prepare is to know that you can accept the bad knowing that you are in this thing together and will find a way to deal with it together. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone. I am not sure that we live in a world that makes a lot of sense sometimes. Prayers, Fay0
