    Sounds lovely
    Hi Sue,
Sounds like your going to have a great weekend. I have never been to a fish fry. Maybe someday. How many grandkids do you have. I have three, from my oldest daughter.
I am feeling a little less stressed about the trip. All I have to do is pack..LOL Good thing I didn't put away the summer clothes.
    Happy Birthday.
    Enjoy your new laptop..

Mary... The laptop is awesome, but man oh man..teaching an old dog new tricks is a challenge, but I'm up for it!

Lisha...We have 2 grandkids from our oldest son Charley ..Chelsie is 20 and Charley jr is 19. I also have a new one on the way with my youngest son Josh and his wife...it is due to arrive the 2nd week in May.."YES"! Love, love love the grandkids and the joy they bring. Chelsie is teaching me all about my new laptop...I just wish she would take it slower and quit expecting me to understand whats she's doing. She learned how to use a computer before she was 5. Enjoy your trip and r-e-l-a-x!
    Love to you all...Sue

    Make up
    Sue,
Your beautiful without make up I'm sure. Actually, during chemo my skin wouldn't tolerate anything but moisturizers, and lots of that. Didn't need blush as chemo left my face very pink. My eyes teared so much that eye makeup was out of the question.
Have a huge piece of cake for all of us here.

    Me too..but..
    Hi Leslie,
Funny..my face also gets extra dry since chemo, but so far the few times..(very few) that I put on make-up it doesn't irritate my eyes or skin. I only wear it if we go somewhere and on chemo days at the clinic. Cute story...back 30 years ago when I was driving school bus back in Illinois, I didn't wear make-up one morning and when one of my kindergarteners climbed on board, she looked at me and said.."Mr's Sue...you forgot to wear your glasses..how will you see to drive?"...ha! I didn't even wear glasses at the time! Kids knowtice everything! It's pie for desert..I'm baking a big glazed apple pie...need to use up my remaining apples before they go bad. Sue

    Hi Sue,

    Belated Happy Day!
    Hi Sue,

I just posted to you on another thread, but wanted to add my best birthday wishes in this thread also!

Thanks for your wonderful posts and congratulations on your new computer!
And someday I would like to meet Hubby - sounds like I would like him - as crazy as me maybe. If Mimi-Warrior reads about him, she'll be jealous because so much of our life's antics have been put on hold with the cancer. (But your Hubby story has been an inspiration, so I'm going to find some antics of my own! - Different picture, I'm sure:)

Anyway, fish fry with the family - what could be better for #60? (We have that in common.) And you know what - yesterday we became grandparents for the 3rd time! Our new granddaughter Ellie was born (via C-section) yesterday afternoon and at over 9 pounds, dark hair, big feet and wide open blue eyes - she is BEAUTIFUL!

So much for us to look forward to. Stay the course, Sue!
    Happy Birthday.
