New Doctor

Hi all,
What a morning! Started calling the clinic at 8:00 and I'm glad to report that I now have a new doctor. Don't have a clue who he is or what he will be like, but at least I can say I "have" a doctor"...ha! Needless to say the clinic was obviously overwhelmed with patients calling in, but after 4 hours of waiting my chemo nurse called and talked to me for 45 minutes and finally put my mind "somewhat" at ease. I'll meet with the new doctor on the 14th. Hope everyone has a good week....Love...Sue

    Whew
    Hi Sue,

Whew is all I can say. What a mess, glad it is now over. The new Dr can only be better. Fingers crossed for you. Try to not let these bumps in the road get you down. They happen to everyone in one way or another.
I now have all my reservations, hotels, cars etc. confirmed. Called in my refill rx's and hubby stocked up on the dog treats.
Still feeling nervous, not sure why. It is only a ten day trip. Must be because I am so tired before I even get on the plane.. LOL
I am planning on updating all of you while I'm in Florida. You guys are my 'Go to support team'
    Stay well
    peaceful healing...

    Good Sue
Happy to know that you are getting that new Doc and that they spent some time with you on the phone to help reassure. Hopefully it will be someone that you can click with and all will go well. Hang in there and have a good week too. Mary

    Hi Mary,
I'm ok with the "new doctor" deal, and feel like I just have to move forward. I am learning to "Trust" but "Verify"...no more blind faith for me when it comes to doctors. Got a huge surprise in the mail today from my 7 sisters...a brand new laptop! Now I have to figure out how to use it...ha! Take care and have a good week Mary...don't work too hard!
    Love...Sue

Wow lucky you to have 7 great sisters and a new laptop. That was sweet. Was it for that birthday that I know you have coming up? As a fellow Libra it is our season. Let me think is it the 30Th? I think I remember it because that's was my Dad's birthday too. Mary

    Yes
    Hi Mary,
Yes..it is a B-day gift from all of them. They wanted me to be able to sit in my comfy chair, bed,or at chemo and still have access to a computer. So sweet of them! It's a pretty fancy pants one for this old bird, but thats ok...I've got all the time in the world to play around and figure things out. Yep..the 30th..last day of the month...the "Big" 60 this year. Love...Sue

Yes, Sue, you bet!! I had benign cyst removed a year ago and I thought - that is it. Noooo! It is like one-two punch experience. We are gonna hang in there and feel grateful for what we still have. Now we are into a new journey - a new adventure!
