I was told my biopsy report was sent away for staining- WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ?

    This is normal procedure
    This is normal procedure performed. The lab will add a stain to the samples from your biopsy. The stain's then adhere to the various tissues, etc which allow them to be examined better under a microscope. I believe any cancerous cells would show as a different color in the staining process.
