Onco test came back Negative and SEcond Biopsy came back Negative Yay!!!

I have 1 more round of Taxol to go and I will be done! I also got some great news yesterday from my Surgeon. He called me at 8:30am and woke me up with the great news that my Gene test came back negative (I do not carry the gene) and I also got news a few weeks ago when he took a second biopsy when he had to put a marker in my right breast to mark the tumor since the chemo has shrink it significantly to prepare me for my lumpectomy. Great news there to that no cancer cells came up in the pathology report. I know only the surgery will tell what's going on in there....but all this good news is lifting my spirits. I am happy today, the first time in a long time. I think alot has to do with finishing chemo soon. LOL

    congrats on getting wonderful news! I don't remember when your lumpectomy is but wishing you well. I'll be glad when chemo is done too! I have 1-3 more rounds of TC.

    Congratulations on the negative results on your gene test! I am happy for you and your family. It sounds like another congratulations will be in order as you near the finish line with chemo-Yeah!!! I remember the feeling. Good for you, you're almost there!

    Oncotype?
    Are you sure it isn't the BRCAA test that came back negative? Not having the gene is a great thing. The Oncotype is a test that tells how affective chemo will be.
