Hi Kaye,
Been thinking of you since you posted yesterday. I hope today is going a little bit better for you. Please remember if you need someone to talk with at "anytime" I am more than happy to give you my phone number..all you have to do is ask. In my prayers daily.
Love...Sue

Tom...how did your 3rd round go on Thursday? Good I hope! I am on day 4 after 2nd round and doing good. Tomorrow is the last day of having to take the "P", so I'm all happy about that. Take care...Sue

    Kaye,

Just wondering how you're doing today. Thinking about you lady!

Sue, it cracks me up how much you and I think the same way about the prednisone. Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon.

The pain meds are helping my girl. My depression meds have been upped. so hopefully in a couple of weeks things will get better.

    You should see me
    Hi beth,
If you could see my face and body actions while I'm on this stuff you'd "really" crack up. It is "whacked" medicine and by far the most irritating part of my chemo. I was trying to read my book earlier and finally gave up when I couldn't figure out who was who or what was happening. Easier to just stare at the boob tube and swing my foot up and down. My 82 year old neighbor takes "P" for her arthritis and says it's a miracle drug for her...go figure!!! One more day and then I'm home free!...Love...Sue

    doing the same
    Hi Sue,
I really get it when you talk about trying to read. I have tried to read one book all summer. Can't get to far. For me , it's just too hard to stay focused. And this is a book I waited for and bought as soon as it came out in paperback. One of my fav authors. I have read all his other books and loved them...Sigh Oh the joys of cancer. Mostly stared at the tv today, but did manage to walk with hubby and Lola around the park two times tonight. I am worn out now, but it felt so good to get out and just move a little. Hang in there , one day to go..
    Peaceful healing...

    Special Dogs
Special name for special girls. I was glad to hear that you got some pain meds going for her. My Lola is 8 years and has bad hips. She doesn't complain much, but has her bad days too. She is the third newfoundland we have had in our lives. Can't imagine not having a dog around.
Glad to hear that you are doing some better and that your hubby has some good days. Take each day as it comes. You have some wonderful friends..
Peaceful healing to you and your husband.
