WOW
Hi Vinny,
Just sat down and saw your post. Way to go. YOUR DONE.. Bummer about the RBC . I know that feeling all to well. Stay strong and if you think the procrit is a good plan for you, then go for it. You will need all your strength to recover and move on to what may be next.
What else is there to say, congratulations.
peaceful healing.

All done for now!
Hi Vinny,
As you always tell us..."One Day At A Time", and today is a "good" day with this being your last treatment!!!! The blood count situation is hard and I'm sure it's on your mind every single day. Maybe the Procrit shot will be a plus for now, and then lets think only positive thoughts for that wonderful day of remission. Sooo...whats for diner tonight?
"Lobster" and Champaign??!!! You sure deserve a nice treat with all you are going through. Hang in there Vinny and celebrate the day!....Sue0 -

I washed the peaches, cut them up and made the most beautiful looking cobbler....well...except for the fact that when I cut up the peaches I "forgot" to PEEL them!!! I called hubby at work this morning and said.."How's the cobbler?" He said.."Just great honey". Yea right..he knows I'm on the dredded "P", so he would say anything not to up-set me...ha!...Sue0 -

Hey Vinny,
I tasted the cobbler and it's "ok" tasting if you can get past the fuzzy peach skin that seperated from the peaches during cooking.Nasty texture in your mouth. Tossed it this morning after talking to hubby and made a new one for him the "right" way. No more cooking for me in the wee hours of the morning when taking the "P"...ha!
Aint chemo great??!!..ha!....Sue0 -

Wishing Luck!!!!
Hi Vinny,
I havn't been around much, off on our cruise to Alaska and now heading to SF for the lymphoma conferance, but wanted to let you know that I've been thinking of you. And sending you lots of prayers and good positive wishes. Your journey has certainly been a challange and I know all of us here are hoping for good result on your scans next month. Do you do the scans prior to seeing the SCT specialist? It's just amazing to me that any of you feel up to cooking. I was way to fatigued to do anything and was told by Stanford to not use any sharp knives, etc. So I am blown away by all your cooking, you go Vinny!!!
Here's to remission, Leslie0 -

Hey Leslie, nice to hear from you, yes I will see the SCT specialist for a consult, before my scan. Don't get me wrong it takes a lot to get up and cook, but I need something to make me feel alittle normal! I have cut myself twice, which is not good! Hope you have a great trip!!!! Vinny0
