Needed Prayer For My Mom

Hello fellow caregivers,
Most of you know me here from being a caregiver for my dad. Now it is my mom's turn. She has been diagnosed with a leaking heart valve, and P A D. P A D is peripheral artery disease. This means that the arteries in her lower legs are blocked. I am reaching out to all of you for prayer. We are going to be meeting with the leg surgeon. Catherization will be being done first, and then surgery. I will keep you up to date. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

    Bad news
    Hi Tina,
    That sure was bad news. First your dealing with your dad's cancer and now your mom's heart problem. I know you're probably really stressed and hope you have someone who can go through this with you.
    I'll be sure and say a prayrer for you, your mom and your dad. Be strong and just be there for them. Carole

    Thank you all for your many thoughts and prayers! You bring me to tears, but tears of joy. I am happy and blessed to have you on my and moms side. I will be keeping you posted. We have an appt. on 10/8 to meet with the leg specialist. This will be a consultation. Then we will go from there.

    Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I just wanted to let you know that my dad did pass away from esophageal cancer with mets to the liver on March 9, 2010. So we are all still grieving of course and now having to deal with mom's issues. God never gives us too much to handle, so we have once again put this all in his hands.

    So sorry you lost your dad. My hubby died on March 25, 2010. So hard to believe it's 6 months tomorrow. Please give your mom a big hug for me & tell her to think positive. And take care of yourself. Dealing with this so close to losing your dad must be very stressful. Good luck on the consultation. We are like a family on this site, so count on us for support!

    Sorry to hear of your loss also. Both in the same month. Yes, we just passed the 6 month point as well. It was a rough couple of days. I do count on all of you for support and thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Hugs right back to you. I will be in touch.
