She's Here.......Isabella!

My first grandchild, Isabella, was born yesterday afternoon at 2:43 p.m. She was over 5 weeks early and only weighed 3 lbs. 7 oz. She was delivered by c-section. Everything so far is fine. They are giving her a little oxygen, since that was one vital that was a little low. Please continue to keep Isabella as well as my son & daughter-in-law in your prayers. She is so tiny. Hugs, Jean

    Awww Jean, congrats. A baby is such a blessing in our lives. Hope she grows big and strong and soon you will be able to hold her in your arms. My sister in law was a preeme, only weight little over 2 lbs 40 yrs ago, but you would never have guess, she grew up to be a very healthy 5 feet 7 tall.

    O, isn't the first one great? Even though she is so tiny, modern medicine is wonderful.

    Grandma congratulations! You my dear Jean, Isabella and your entire family are in my prayers. I'm so happy for you, I guess Isabella like baby Troy were anxious to meet their parents and grandparents. I'm praying that she is good at putting on weight. Cypress Cynthia has good info on preemies. She has been a wonderful encouragement . Isabella will flourish in good time.

    Jean, I finally figured out how to pm you and have sent a message to you. LOL, I kept leaving out the space between the Jean and the 0609. Premies I know; the computer not so much ;-)
