Do you remember I told you guys that my Doc has no bedside manners and is always in a rush? Well,,,,, I saw him yesterday, buying lunch and I approached him just to say hello (he was alone). Here's the kicker, he did not know who I was and what he treated me for. How about that?? He is not an old guy so age is not an excuse. Just a big joke. I was with a relative and was too embarrased to let them know that he didn't know who I was (he tried to make me feel better by giving me a hug and kiss when I was leaving (ha). J

    i bet he'll remember you now! still, that must have felt bad, and just confirmed your sense of him. i still think it might be worthwhile to look for another doctor.

    Goodness, that does make it feel impersonal doesn't it? Are you at a huge learning hospital by chance where this doc just has a very large amount of patients?

    Yes, I am at a huge learning hospital, but I have seen him several times. It's funny even though I feel bad about him not recognizing me, I would have a hard time mentioning this to administration or anyone else that would make him look bad. Don't know why, but that is how I feel, fortunate for him, I guess my mind will tell me when to switch docs. Thank you for caring. Hugs June. Hope you are doing well.
