Missing our friend Bluerose

It has been quite some time since I have seen our dear friend Bluerose post or reply on this board and I am wondering about her and how she is doing.

Has anyone heard from her or know her circumstances? Perhaps taking a much needed break?

    Gosh, I thought I saw her post in the colorectal board, but couldn't find her posts...strange cause I know I saw them in the last couple weeks. Maybe I had gone back to see older posts.

    Chemo brain or I did see them?? hmmmm

    Hi Tina,

    I also sent Bluerose a private message and hopefully she will see it the next time she logs on to the site.

    For now, I will assume she has not been posting due to GOOD things happening in her life. If she answers my PM I will ask if I can update everyone.

    YIKES DON'T GIVE ME A CYBER HUSBAND YET, JUST GOT RID OF A REAL LIFE ONE NOT THAT LONG AGO. LOL. Nope Hodgekoid isn't my husband, I don't think? lol.

    Thanks for the concern, sorry about that. I posted on this board what was going on so if you can read that it will save me typing it again.

    Hope to see you soon in the room or on the board. Just too much going on here so I haven't been much good to anyone as far as my posts were concerned. You know how it is. Had no idea I was gone that long.

    Hey Tina, Thanks for asking about me, just lost track of time I guess with all that has been going on here. Nothing too serious and hope it stays that way but looming surgery is a worry. We all can understand that I know. Never seems to end but then again not ending is the whole idea right so in that regard I am right on track. lol. Still breathing, some days better than others.

    Anywho I wrote about where I have been and hope you can catch up in that posting on this topic. Was surprised to see how long I have been offline. Sheeesh. Time flies when you are batting away at symptoms and side effects eh? lol.

    See you in chat. I will drop in today/tomorrow if I am up to it after my dental surgery. How much freakin anaesthetic did they give me? Yikes.

    No that wasn't me on that board, I don't think it was anywho but with chemo brain here sometimes hard to know where I was the minute before. lol. You know how that goes.

    I did drop into the chatroom last week I think it was for just a few minutes but then had to leave and haven't posted on the boards for a bit now. Sometimes when too much is going on with me I don't feel I can be of much use on the boards so I just hunker down for a bit. That was a long bit though, sheesh I didn't realize it has been so long.

    Anywho thanks for the concern, I appreciate that. What would we do without the support of this board eh? It's incredible.

    TWO MONTHS since I posted? Holy moly Batman. lol. You are a bottomless source of info my dear. lol. Thanks for updating the posey out to find me, lol. Here I am.

    Long winded story of part of what I have been up to, too bad it wasn't because of weeks in Hawaii or a lottery win that has kept me out buying up all that there is to have but no such luck. Late effects, new symptoms, sugery looming yada yada, you know how it goes.

    Anywho I am still breathing. Thanks for updating the group.

    Yikes has it been that long since I posted? Wow time goes fast when you feel like heck eh? lol.

    Thanks for all the concerned notes, I truly appreciate that but time got away from me I guess, have had alot going on.

    AnnaLeigh I got your pm and responded but then stopped by this section of the site and noticed the search was on for me so I am responding to you all now. Sorry for the scare, silly of me not to think of that but I have had alot on my mind -what's new with this 'c' thang eh? Always something.

    Some of you know that I had a cyst on my ovary being followed right? Well the good news is that it disappeared YAY, bad news - they found that the uterus wall was large and there is no reason for that NOT YAY. Anywho now I am waiting for surgery to do a D and C (guys avert your eyes, lol), and who knows what that will turn up. Same old story nothing new to most of us, recover, new symptom, wait, worry, wait some more, worry some more, hopefully recover then something else comes up.

    While I was waiting for that lovely surgery a tooth front fell off, second tooth to disintegrate like that, so I look to the total body radiation I had years back for this weakening effect. Had surgery on Wed of this week to remove that and they really hit me with conscious sedation so it's taking me days to recover from that.

    Other than all that pleasantry the kids remain unsupportive and sometimes I think that's the worst part of all. But I continue, I think. lol.

    Anywho, I will stop by the chatroom today at some point, Saturday, and hope to see you guys then.

    Sorry again, I should know better than just disappear from a site like this, chemo brain - I blame it on chemo brain and that works for me. So there. lol.

    Hey Anna, here I am.

    I won't write a long message as I wrote you in the pm you sent and updated everyone who responded here on this topic I just saw after writing you. Stupid chemobrain I had no idea I was gone that long, yikes 2 months? Unreal. I know better than just disappear from this kind of site but again I blame chemobrain. lol

    Anyways, thanks for the concern I really do appreciate it. The unsupportive issues with my kids continue, worse lately, so it really cheered me to see that there was support here on these boards. What would we do without that at times eh?

    I just happened by the site today after getting your pm came to this topic to see what was up and noticed the search party out for me, lol. Still feeling icky from my anaesthesia - man they really knocked me out on Wed during the dental surgery - still feel rough. Only had conscious sedation too, they must have used the whole tank on me. I must have been feisty during the procedure - hmmmm, wonder what you really say under that stuff? Anywho they charged me $660 for the surgery so I don't care what I said, so take that dentist man. lol.
