Seriously, this may seem vain and unimportant in the scheme of all we go thru, but I am NOT eating 2000 calories a day. I am walking 30-40 minutes each morning, so why am i busting out of all my pants? Granted, my torso terrain is different and all lumpy and bumpy due to the myraid of surgeries, but hell, I don't need anything else to be depressed about.

ok, vent over

    Your Bod...........
may be going through a time of regenerating itself and in its defense is building up a myriad of backup calories for yet another round of battle or for simply storage...It is a wondrous thing the body, it has so much involuntary knowledge to know when to increase metabolism to store "reserves" if you will and rebuild what has been torn down through surgery processes. We simply need to assure that like a watch, the spring isn't sprung and if not then allow it to do its thing.... It will in time resolve itself with a minimum of restraint from you as well..
Try not to diet for diet is only temporary, lifetime maintenance is the key, to find what works for your body, and to just try and maintain what makes you feel good, not lose it all, give a big sigh of relief that your done and then end up binging again....simple use maintenance principles............Love to ya, Buzz

    Liver thing
    Peggy,
Might talk to your Dr. The liver does an amazing job of ridding us of all sorts of stuff like cholesteral, fat, icky stuff etc. Might need to keep track of what it is up to now. Might also want to check Thyroid function, iron levels and watch for fluid retention. Not to scare you, just keep an eye out for things so they can be easily and quickly corrected.
