The bag keeper worked as planned!!!!!!

The other night we had chipped beef in cream gravy on toast for dinner. Well the next morning it looked like the Goodyear blimp landed on my crotch. There was so much gas pressure that the bag leaked a little. The stretch nylon kept the crap contained.
I don’t know why the hell they don’t make a PVC pipe fitting that could have a quick disconnect and a ball valve fitting stick out of your belly. You could turn off everything with the ball valve while changing the bag. These bags are just not very high tech. They are however not as bad as I thought.

Glad it worked!
Sounds like you and your lovely lady made a great thing in the 'bag keeper'.
You might want to try the bags which have an 'automatic gas release valve' in them. That would help aleviate the build up.
Keep us posted on your successes!

We call that dish SOS
Sounds like the SOS caused an SOS !!!!! Those manufacturers need to listen to the people who have to live with the bags.
But sounds like you are adjusting well with the help of a very resourceful lady at your side. She is only scary because she is SO DARN SMART.0
