Greg first dx was because of how big the tumor was and where it was that sugery was not offered. And As you know when the word cancer comes up you are not perpared or understanding what is going on, So they offer was Chemo and Radaition only , That went very well he could not talk only a course lost voice that hurt to speak. So We were glad for any help, Then Dec 09 they saw something on his lungs. and the rest is history!0 -
You Have to Keep Fighting
Sorry things aren't going as planned. Seems a lot on this board have that happen. Not sure what to tell you, (my dad is going through the similar situation) you just have to keep trying new drugs if you can! As long as you can keep stable, like Sherri said, that's a good or in EC cases, GREAT!
I'll be praying for you and Greg.
Blessings,

I know that you are going thru such a hard time. And for you to take time to help me you are so kind. My heart is with you and your family. I did hot think to ask if he was tested for that gene, I asked if he was tested for H.P.V. I was told since he did not drank or smoke all met bone of the systoms that this cancer would have , The assume he is positive for H.P.V.
Sherri If I could hug you I would in a heart beat. If I could help you anyway I would and will.

Hello Jennie and Greg- As usual I am agreeing with William and Loretta! Definitely be jumping for joy that these tumors have shrunk and not grown any larger! It is just another bump in the road to this journey. I am thinking it is time to try a different type of chemo. A more aggressive one. Remember when life closes the door, God opens a window! God always keeps his promises. Rejoice in your good news, go to the drs. and ask about a different kind of chemo. Peace be with both of you. Keep in touch.

That is what I am thinking that they will try a different type when he goes back, The 30th. I have been trying to read some reports on Erbitux and Taxotere but I am not sure what He is getting other than Caarbosplatin. So we will have to see. I am not jumping up and down but I am not beant over crying either. I am ttrying to learn and find as much as I can that will help Greg.
