Gave NED a high five today.

Well, after a sleepless night...I had my second post-treatment CT scan and NED was the most welcomed party in the room. My surgical onc said everything looked great and my recovery is ahead of schedule. She commented that since there was virtually no swelling and that the scans looked clean...she would pass this time on the "say Eeeeeee" scope and did the hold the tongue mirror trick.

I'll see my rad onc Thursday and my guess is he will scope and "take a look around", we'll see.

I'm happy and relieved, my wife is eccstatic.
