Don't Really Know How To Feel About CT Report

Well, after 6 sessions of Cisplatin/Etoposide, with about a 75% reduction in lung masses, liver mets and stable adrenal gland, yesterday's final CT showed no further change. Some concern about my husband's bones, so a bone scan is scheduled for Monday. We were preparing for PCI, but now will wait for bone scan report.

Oncologist says not horrible news, but must deal with the reality that it could have gone to his bones. Damn, cancer!

Well, I guess that's how I feel about the report! And, tomorrow expecting brain MRI report. Please, God, don't let that be bad. Yep, I suppose this has knocked the wind out of my sails, but I'll recover, pray for more strength and hope.

Thank you all for being here for me. I can so honestly say that I would have been lost without this group. Please continue to pray for my husband, Dennis, and for me. My hopes and prayers are always with all of you and your loved ones.

    Thank you, Glenna. My hubby's brain MRI showed no mets in his brain! Monday, he will have the bone scan. God bless you and all the wonderful folks that send prayers and good wishes. My prayers are with you, also.

    Wonderful news
    So happy to hear that the MRI showed not mets to the brain, that has always been one of my greatest concerns. Will keep you in my prayers for Monday's bone scan.

    If you just today made this comment, you should be able to still see an "edit" button, which you can use to backspace and delete. I'll find out in a minute if that works...
