Just had to share, Sheri and I decided to take Bailey our new puppy to the beach today. Believe it or not, that's what we decided to do for our anniversary. Twenty three years of marriage tomorrow. We took Bailey to Dog Beach in Huntington Beach,CA. What a great place to take your dog. Most beaches don't allow dogs, but this one does. The really great thing is you can let your dog off the leash and let them run. This was Baileys first big day out with other dogs, she was a little shy socializing. But I plan on making many more trips to the beach with her and Sheri, so I'm sure she will be a pro at it before to long. Sorry the pictures aren't the best, crappy cell phone camera was all I had, forgot the good camera at home.

    Hi Mary,
Yeah new places are fun. Since we live in the desert, getting to the Ocean is a nice change.

    Hi Pepe,

Yes anniversaries are special, in particular this one. Last year at this time I was just starting Chemo. Thank God that is done. As for Bailey, she is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Retriever. We got her from a Dog Rescue and she has been such a great addition to our lives, the cat on the other hand is still getting used to the idea of a dog in the house again.

    Cats an Dogs
    Pepe,

The cat seems to be iritated a bit by the dog.Bailey is just curious about the cat and sniffs around the cat, then Figaro swats at the dog when he has had enough and Bailey runs away. They alternate between who chases who. But overall they are getting along a little better each day.

    Hi Pepe,

California City is the name of my town. It's near Edwards Air Force Base where they land the space shuttle when the weather is bad in Florida and also near Mojave,CA home of SpaceShipOne built by Scaled Composites and funded by Sir Richard Branson who now has started Virgin Galactic to take private citizens on a short trip to outer space, for only about $200,000 US per person.

p.s. I just added a sunset picture from my front yard taken in 2003
