Congradulations! I'm always
Congradulations! I'm always a little apprehensive when I have my test; but when it has come back good I celebrate all over again. I am scheduled for a scan in Oct. In oct, it will be two years cancer free. I thank and praise the Lord everyday for the grace he's shown me!
You're right, the things we learn to cope with are minor, when we look at where we've been.
I celebrate your birthday with you,

Great News!!!!!
Congratulations on the positive CT Scan results!!!!
You did not mention when your husband’s surgery was, but it does take time for the new plumbing to figure out how to work. I am now 9 months since my IL surgery and I am improving weekly. I have much more stamina than I did just a few months ago and I am able to eat almost everything. (High sugar content and greasy foods are the exceptions).
I have gained about 10 pounds and my oncologist feels I am making excellent progress.
So although it does take time, your husband should notice a continuing improvement in how he feels and what he can eat. Of course we all live from scan to scan but every day feeling well is a gift.
I hope you and your husband are going to celebrate the good news by rewarding yourself with something you both enjoy. It has been a rough road to recovery and victories deserve recognition.
I hope the results continue to stay positive.
Best Regards,
Paul Adams

Thank you for your encouragement. This was our first scan, and, yes, a lot of apprehension. I believe my husband was much more anxious than he said because since the doctor called, he's smiled more today than he has in months.0 -

We appreciate your past and continuing encouragement. These posts of encouragement and information has helped us face this challenging recovery. He continues with shortness of breath but it is getting slowly better. We celebrated by going to GrandParents Day at one of our grandchildren's school and then headed home to our recliners and rest. The load of getting past the scan and getting a good report was a great celebration for us. We hope to continue to celebrate with our family in the coming weeks. Thanks again for being there.
I like how you show your information. I'll copy. Mary
