No pocessed sugar + body PH Does anyone believe?
I believe in some of what I have read. But I'm a person who doesn't believe in get rich quick schemes, pryramids sales etc. Why aren't more people trying other options? Maybe I'm just reaching for a cure that isn't possible.
I'm saddend with many of our friends dying. Chemo works well for some, but not for all.

I read an article that people with a more acidic diet are more prone to developing cancer. I can not refer you to the article because I read it years ago. We are using a combination of holistic eating and traditional medicine (chemo). From my research once you have chemo in your body, you will need to be careful about what medicines or medicinal products you put in your body whether they are alternative or not so you don't have a reaction.0 -

In China (and other countries), Traditional Chinese Medicine and
western medicine is practiced side-by-side, complimenting one
another in cancer treatment.
There is much documentation regarding the combining of the
two sciences and practices, by many of the leading cancer
research centers.
Regardless of what link I might post here for educational purposes,
you will find some individuals that find acceptance, and some
that denounce anything but "mainstream" medicine. However,
for some basic info:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2664781/
Well experienced and learned doctors of TCM will -not- tell
a cancer patient to forego standard treatments and default to
TCM; both sciences can be used simultaneously. But it must be
kept in mind, that TCM works with the immune system, and
standard chemotherapy destroys the immune system.
It's unfortunate that chemo can not be formulated differently easily,
but it is something they are trying to accomplish, and perhaps eventually
they will.
When you're researching, look at the .org .edu and .net websites
wherever possible. The .com are commercial web sites and often
skew data in an effort to sell something. The websites from other
countries are also of benefit, since many are not influenced by
"paid for" studies geared to selling specific items. You would look
for web addresses that end in .uk .no, etc.
(Info here: http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/topleveldomains/countrycodeA-E.asp)
Whenever you see a specific phrase repeated on numerous websites,
you can be sure it's just copied data. The redundancy should -not-
be construed to be "proof of truth", but merely copied data.
Cancer cells survive by the fermentation process. They take in
glucose that our undamaged cells need, and spew out waste in
the form of lactic acid. The acidic nature of our system is increased
by that phenomena. Suggesting that cancer "thrives in acid", is a
bit confusing, since cancer thrives on glucose; it steals the glucose
from our undamaged cells, robbing us of energy we need to survive.
We defecate more when we eat more, does that mean we thrive
in defecation?
You should keep in mind, that trying to "starve" a cancer cell by
not taking in glucose, will starve your good cells long before it
starves a cancer cell. It's not a good idea to attempt doing battle
with cancer by trying to starve it to death in that manner.
A cancer cell has no "brain", and it isn't foreign to our system, in that
it is only a normal cell that's been damaged. It's begun to survive on
it's own, by one of the most simple processes known to man. The only
reason it survives inside us, is due to our own defense system; our
immune system, not doing what it should.
Fighting this with chemicals may well kill the cancer, but cancer will
only begin to grow again, if our immune system isn't doing what it should.
I started a "blog" here with some info, and will be adding to it
as I can find time to. It's on the "profile" page...
Feel free to ask any questions. If I can help anyone see another
day of life; provide anyone with knowledge to help with their survival,
I am satisfied.

Here's the deal. Your body works extremely hard to keep a constant pH. Any deviation from 7.3 and you will experience significant health issues. Our lungs, kidneys, skin, colon, and liver all work in harmony to maintain a pH of 7.3. Your stomach is extremely acidic. It doesn't matter what you eat. As soon as it hits your stomach its strongly acidic. I'm not saying don't eat what is on the pH diet. It does have a lot of good things. I think the best diet is to cut down on the things we truly get an excess amount of. Eat way more greens and beans, and eat way less red meat. I'm down to about 12 oz of beef a month. I try to get 4-6 oz of protein a day. Turkey or fish is best. Lots of fiber, fiber, and more fiber. No high fructose corn syrup period. I don't no why I chose to do it, but the more I hear the better I like the idea. Raw sugar is better than white, and agave nectar and honey are best. That's about all you need to know.0 -
Absolutely I believe in this!
Hi Erin,
I'm with you--the fact that so many people are dying on here is not only saddening but maddening to me as well.
Nine years ago I was dx'ed with Stage III colon cancer and opted to NOT do any of the prescribed adjuvant chemo and did it with alternatives based on a PURE diet that gave me optimal nutrition in the easiest to assimilate fashion to alkalize my system and balance me out. That foundation was juicing fresh organic veggies (as much GREEN as possible), a vegan/macro diet to detox my system--clean out the gunk and give my digestive system a much-needed break so all it's energy could go into healing my body of cancer.
I have remained cancer free post surgery for NINE years having NEVER done any chemo. I am skeptical of chemo as well.
You may want to check out The Gerson Method by Charlotte Gerson and also Crazy Sexy Cancer by Kris Carr.
People aren't trying other options because they are buying into the fear factor that oncologists (who have everything to benefit from administering mega-expensive cytotoxic drugs) dish out to us when our lives are being threatened. There are plenty of options out there if you are willing to do the work and research.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! I will check those books out. It gives me something to do while the husband is in the office with his 4 hour visit.
