    YES!
I have really enjoyed watching my two daughters play soccer. The oldest one hasn't played for several years, but the younger one played until last year. This summer she was a referee. She is also an avid hockey player (Canada's official sport) + I see similaries between the two sports. Growing up I was not exposed to very much soccer but now soccer is hugely popular for kids especially. Now, we just need a good international team......

    Sorry about the loss.

    I'm awful
I really like American football, but not so big on real football. My younger daughter is the opposite. After spending a semester in Spain, and now a month this summer backpacking Mexico during the World Cup, she is a huge fan. She has never really liked American football.

We're gearing up for the USA football season opener tomorrow. Our Minnesota Vikings play the team that knocked us out of the play-offs to get to the Super Bowl (our version of World Cup, but only for USA teams). Since I'll be starting FOLFIRI and figure I will lose my hair, I'm considering cutting it real short and dyeing it purple and gold - our team colors. Just for fun - I don't think I'll have it long.

    I love soccer. I've coached
I love soccer. I've coached my girls' teams for the last six years. I'll be coaching my 4 year old son's team this Fall.

We're starting to figure out how to coach youth soccer in the US. Our best youth players are properly trained and are finally skipping college and going straight into professional systems. Sorry Pepe. Two World Cups from now, we are going to destroy everyone.

As for me, I haven't been able to play (against adults) since colostomy surgery in August '09. If my wound from April surgery ever heals, I may play a little indoor soccer this winter.

And when l mean stars l don't mean old starlets as Beckham LOL.

Thanks for letting me know, Pepe!
I don't recall that tournament; we just hear how our team doesn't make it into the World Championships.

Most of the last was while we were cruising....
The folks in the next cabin were Brazilian...they called over for us to 'hold it down!' when The Netherlands took the game with Brazil!
