Update on JoJo's visit to Southern California ... scheduled for 9/8

JoJo had planned to be in Riverside, California tomorrow - 9/8 available to meet with several of us So. California Warriors - 2,3 or 4 p.m. Several sisters in PINK want to meet with her for lunch, or dinner and drinks . . . I still have not heard from JoJo, and as we all know .. when you're on vacation time flies - plans change.

If I hear from JoJo -- I will post. Merry and Cindy Flynn wanted to join us - and the best possible location would be the Claim Jumper in Brea --. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the festivities ..

    Much as you know I would LOVE to do this with you, I also will be out of town~ starting 9/8!

    A big part of the culture of my Reggie's tribe relates to the ocean~ and once a year the Tribe celebrates a tribal homecoming out on the channel islands. Reggie is part of a group of traditional paddlers who paddle a 30'redwood canoe from Ventura to Santa Cruz Island. About 200 family members and friends camp on the island and welcome the paddlers when they come ashore . It is ceremonial and something so important to so many! I get to reconnect with friends I only see once a year, and be part of something beautiful and meaningful~ and fun! I will be back on Sunday PM, and hope to be back online Monday morning!

    So, sweet sisters, if it does work out for you to be having bfast, lunch, high tea, cocktails, dinner or dessert with our beautiful jo-jo~ please give hugs from me! To all of you!

    please keep me in the loop. I am not sure but wish to be apart of the group. Where is she going to stay? I understand that she is coming to see you., however other points of interest she is going to attend?

    UPDATE ... I am meeting with JoJo and her Man today,
    9/8 at 1:00 p.m. -- this works with her scheduled plans, and I am thankful for the opportunity -. I'll update you all on her plans, while here in Southern Calif. - and see if we can arrange another get-together.

    YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!! If I had been thinking at all ( not my strong suit, obviously), I would have given you an extra wine to give as a gift from me.

    Thanks for the update!
    How did it go today? I'm sure it was wonderful to be able to meet another sister!

    I haven't posted much in the past week since I started back to school (plus my job has been particularly challenging in the past week), but I've been trying to at least read a bit every day or so to try to keep up, and I didn't see this post until tonight (after I finished my homework for tomorrow's class, of course)

    Is Jo Jo going to be here for a few more days? I have school tomorrow night (Thursday), but if she's still here this weekend I'd love to meet up with whoever else can make it!
