Scary week
I was supposed to have my last chemo treatment this past tues. It was a train wreck of errors including reading old labs. It was IP chemo and they had me already: belly loaded with saline, IV hydration, mag running, pre meeds dosed and in the vein, then they found the current lab and told me no chemo because I was too dehydrated. Go home. Thank you for playing our game.
I had 4 more hours of mag today with 4 hr blood for the hemoglobin tomorrow.
This Tuesday I get the results from my PET scan and find out " what's next" now that chemo is done. I am so nervous. Also have to schedule surgery to remove a lump on my neck. I hate surgery.
Thanks for listening, please send some peace my way...

So sorry for you loss. I had
So sorry for you loss. I had a cat who died of heart failure the day before my surgery and I ached so much for him. Our pets are the best friends anyone could have. They sit and listen to you when you talk, and snuggle up when you need a pick me up. The years you had with your beloved "freind" will always remain. Think of all those wonderful times and you will have a smile on your face again. I hope things look up for you soon. And sending Peace your way. {HUGS} clynn0 -

Oh, so sorry for your loss. Your husband has cancer too???? Having young kids at home, I can relate. This all must be so scary for your son.
Good luck with your last IP chemo. Have your numbers dropped significantly??? Good luck with your upcoming petscan too!!!!0 -

Good news! My PET was clear!!!! NED--no evidence of disease!!!!! Yes, we were dx'd three days apart. He had a brain tumor that they removed immediately. He went through radiation while I went through chemo. Now we are officially both cancer free!!! Time to take back our lives. Put this horrible year behind us. My 125 numbers were never high--68 at the highest yet the cancer was everywhere: colon, liver, all my hyster-sister parts, but low marker numbers.
Thanks for your concern and thoughts. You children are beautiful. You son resembles my son: little blondie. You've inspired me to post a new pic...if I can figure out how...
