Tingling toes and feet
Hi sandraone,
Had you been taking anything for your neuropathy? If not, talk to your doctor about it. If it's getting worse and it's not tolerable, I'm sure he/she will give you something for it. I know it can be aggravating and sometimes downright painful. I take gabapentin and it does help a little. If I miss a dose, I can tell because my fingers and feet feel hypersensitive.
Hope this helps and I'm glad you have two years cancer free.

I just went to the neurologist tody and she prescribed neurontin. my feet are painful, yet numb. also numbness in my hands. She said it could take two or three years to resolve, but that it is hopeful that it is getting better in small increments. You should consult a neurologist to get evaluated.0 -

I have in the back of my mind that a foot massage helps. Don't remember where I heard it. Maybe it's not true but it couldn't hurt to try it.
massage doesnt help me, I also remember the neurologist saying, capsazin and lidocaine cream are sometimes prescribed.0 -

call your doctor, do a little research .. Massaging helps me as long as problem area is being massaged, 15 min. later - I am back in the saddle again with pain.
Creams help .. as well as exercising that problem area.
Let us know, how you are doing !

I didn't have chemo but I was on tamoxifen. My feet hurt but between being a working nurse and the drugs--shrug, I just kinda thought it was normal. Then my ADHD doctor checked my magnesium level which was low and put me on supplement (which are OTC) and my feet are better. Who knew?

I am going on neurontin but would love it if somethng else would work. dont really want to, but need to start work, and 12 hours on painful, numb feet will be awful if not impossible.0
