They called in the nurse they call the "Vein Wisperer" to start the IV; no problems today; no appearance from the "Chemo-Nurse from Hell"; gave the Benedryl orally due to Donna's reaction last time. My sister brought her to this one.

hi
Taxol sucks, there's just no way around it. It will be over before you know it and fortunately I don't remember much. Give your wife a big hug for me!
God Bless,

Glad everythnig went okay. I have issues with Benadryl too. When they give it to me with my Herceptin, instead of taking 15 mins they stretch it out to 30 mins. Seems to work better for me.
Hugs

Yeahhh
It does seem forever for the treatments to be done. Really happy the vein whisperer started her IV. I had nothing but grand nurses. Course I cheat and have a port. Hope the benedryl helped with SE. Even though her sis brought her to this "cocktail party", I know u were with her in spirit. Congrats on almost being done w chemo.
Tooting my horn, I have the last herceptin tomorrow. yipeee for me. Having u both in my prayers and thoughts. Katz0
