Amazing is truly the right word to describe the feeling you get when all the people here come together with their thoughts and prayers. Thank you for the reply you made to my post of 8/20. I will continue to pray that the results you get from your upcoming ultra sound will be anything but a recurrence. There are other possibilities and that's what we'll hope for.
Best wishes to you and may God bless us all.

Praying that God will bring you His peace, comfort, and assurance that this scare is nothing more than that. God's blessings, Pat
Hoping and praying that it is a false positive, like so many MRI results. Although it's a bad time for more tests, being busy may help you with waiting.

I am praying for you and hoping for another false alarm. MRIs are notorious for that. I am sorry that you are again having to go through the whole nightmare cycle of waiting and testing and waiting again. Sending up prayers for you and your family, and positive thoughts, too.

Hi MamaG, I just had partialMama G said:Did you have radiation on that area?
Just wondering because my radiologist told me that basically guaranteed that I would not get cancer back in that area. I hope and pray that it turns out to be NOTHING!
Hi MamaG, I just had partial breast radiation. Just the tumor bed and a margin around it was treated. This is relatively new. My doc said that I was the perfect candidate for this as my lymphnodes were clear and I had clear margins(I had a lumpectomy).
I agreed to have this type of radiation because if there was ever another cancer in the same breast, then I could have another lumpectomy, and radiation. So now, if this turns out to be malignant, I won't have to have a mastectomy(tissue can only be radiated once). Radiating the whole brest can't prevent future cancers, however I have to wonder if this malignant and the original cancer recurring, would whole breast rads have prevented it?? I have to believe though that it is benign.0 -
So sorry, Eil...
Sorry that you have to deal with this new concern. Like everyone else, I'll be sincerely hoping it turns out to be "nothing" - another "false alarm"...
Please keep us posted, dear.
Kind regards, Susan0
