I'm a Chemo Grad Too!
After my chemo today, my husband & I celebrated by eating out at one of my favorite seafood restaurants. It was so delicious!
I still have to continue my Herceptin for a year, but I can handle that.
Thanks to all of your for your support. You don't know how much you all mean to me.
Hugs, Jean

I hope you do okay during the next few days, side effects have been really easy for me, chemo wasn't all that hard to do but I am truthfully glad it's done.0 -

Yeay Jean!!!
I am so happy for you. Herceptin by itself is not bad at all.
Yummy, I too love seafood, been craving sushi now for SOOOOOO
long but no chance with my blood counts. I have sushi fantasies.. lol
I had my first Herceptin only last Friday, no crashing, actually ran on
sunday and biked on monday. So you see the worst is behind you.
YOU can do it!!!

like that! Chemo ... YUCKY! I just finished 1 year of herceptin last Friday, 8/20 -- and I had difficulties with Herceptin ... BUT, not everyone is in the same boat - as I had extreme side efforts from chemo - TCH/// 18 weeks consectively - no breaks, no vacations ..just chemo every Tuesday @ 9:00 a.m. Please note .. I was off the clinical charts with regards to side efforts - and visits to emergency. So my herceptin side efforts were expected.
Best of luck to you and your continued herceptin treatments, as many of the other gals state, it's not as bad as chemo - and they pursue daily routines without too many complications or hiccups.
Strength and Courage:

Had a good day today. Went for my last neulasta shot. Didn't sleep well last night due to the steroids. But still feel pretty good. Just waiting for my crash day, Saturday. Hugs, Jean

I had a mastectomy in May. Luckily, for me I don't have to do rads! Just Herceptin for a year. I see my oncologist in a few weeks to discuss meds. Hugs, Jean0
