    all the time
I vacation all the time. Hell, that's all I've done since I started this mess. I'm either in the hospital or on the road. If you're like me and not trying to be cured with chemo, skipping a treatment doesn't seem to be too bad. If I am getting treated, I will usually go on the back end of a cycle or delay a cycle. On my current treatment I feel pretty rough for a few days but feel awesome the rest of the time. My treatments are 21 day cycles. So I've been having 2 full weeks of feeling really good. Plus I just bought a yacht so I need to break it in reel good (not a typo). You know, I think I'll post a picture of my new boat. Give me a minute.

    Do it

    Awaiting for the pics!
    Get fun!

    Vacation
If your doctor says you can, go ahead and give yourself a break and do it. Last year when my daughter came home from the army an extra week off (3 weeks between chemo) was exactly what was needed. Felt good enough to enjoy spending time with her. Having an extra week off sometimes your body good too. Makes you build up more than your spirits :) Have fun.

Traveled back and forth LA to Amsterdam...
While under chemo for breast cancer (my second cancer in the year).

I agree with everyone, check with your oncologist. And Rome sounds fun...you know, we just went there...it's beautiful!

My flights were about 10 hours each. I took a mask, and wore it when I slept. I also asked to be seated first, since I was slower at getting things stowed. Everyone was very helpful...I was bald, with a cane...rofl...REALLY looked the part!!!

    Hugs, Kathi
