BOT Biopsy Tomorrow
Nonetheless, heading back into the OR is making me a wee bit jittery so any prayers sent my way would be deeply appreciated.
On a somewhat related note, a wonderful elderly woman at my church approached me after the service this past Sunday. She placed a note into my hand and had something to tell me so I bent down and she stood on her tip toes and she said that the Lord had impressed a word upon her heart that there would be no recurrence.
The note read: If the devil comes and tries to tell you that the cancer is back claim this verse.
Nahum 1:9 What do ye imagine against the Lord? He will make an utter end. Affliction will not rise up the second time.
My eyes filled with tears and I gave her a big hug.
Anyways it seemed to give me great encouragement regarding recurrence and thought that maybe one or two of you may appreciate it as well.
Love you guys,
Joel

Hi Joel
Don’t fear, no matter what the out come Jesus will be there to help you through. When we feel we are going through out trials all alone it is then that Jesus will carry us. Foe 5 years now all my PET scans have came back showing that the cancer was still there but not growing. My last PET few weeks ago came back showing no cancer. What a walk with God I have had these passed years while being in his work shop.
God bless and keeping you in prayer0 -

Thinking about you. Am betting Dr. Miller said "I took it out but it was nothing to write home about".
I got the day off from work, a bottle of percocets to take home, and a nice late breakfast with my beautiful wife. Couldn't have gone better.
The doc saw a few areas of interest via the scan besides the BOT that he thought he'd like to biopsy but upon up close inspection he saw no need.
He also said that the BOT looked good and I should have biopsy results in a few days.
Dr. Miller? Is that Justin? Dr. Vandersloot is my guy and without using those exact words that is pretty much the idea that he conveyed.0 -
