No more Dr visits
I am sitting here having a quiet and very tired moment to myself. I sent the family out to a restaurant for dinner, we are having a heat wave, the first one of the summer. So no one wanted to cook.
I thought I would let you know about this morning at the ortho dr. I was given a new injection into my knee but was told that what I really need to do is start thinking about a knee replacement ! Can you imagine.. As if I don't have enough things filling my plate, they want me to get a new body part. I almost laughed at the Dr. ( I didn't). I am still waiting for test results and each day feels longer then the last. I am sure you can all relate to that. I keep hoping that today will be the day I hear some news. The fatigue is really getting to me. Of course so is the stress.
I hope all of you are having a good start to the week. I know some of you are starting your treatments and some are in the midst of it all. I send you all my very best wishes for comfort and healing.....
Lisha
PS the ortho dr said I should not walk the dog, ever !! Thats not gonna happen......
PSS I think I should stay away from Drs , they don't seem to have very good news these days...sigh

Seems that way...
Hi Lisha,
I agree...the doctors don't seem to have very good news these days! There appears to be no "Golden" in that little saying about these being our golden years...ha! I'm wiped out tonight also. I just want to get this show on the road, but with each step forward it feels like I can automatically expect to take 2 steps backwards. It is getting so tiresome, to say the least. I understand exactly where you are coming from. I'm going to curl up in my chair and just try to put eveything out of my mind tonight and then hope for a better tomorrow. You take care and I'll be here for you...anytime you need me.

Hi Sue,
All we can do is to hope for the best, even when we get the delays. I have had those a lot lately. Yours is much worse and I'm sure much harder to take. I'll keep thinking those good thoughts for you. Hopefully the Drs can sort out the timing issues. Waiting is such a B***H. Hang in there, and thanks for all your loving support...
Lisha
PS love the new photo of you and your Husband.0
