Don't you worry about us on the board, you just get strong enough to post that all went well and then come back to the board when you are able. Have a speedy recovery.

    Hey Eric,

    It's the next day and I'm going to assume that the surgery is now over and that you are resting/sleeping off the effects of the anesthesia. I'm hoping when you wake up that you do not have any major headache or anything like that and that you will be feeling better and better with each passing day.

    There's no expectation for you to post in the next day or two unless you are feeling totally up to it. But something tells me with this kind of surgery, they may have you fairly drugged for a few days (what do I know... maybe not... maybe you will be up racing the hallways within 24 hours of surgery). Either way, when you do come back to read the messages everyone has left for you, you will see that we were all here with coffee in hand, no matter what the time of the day, sending good, healing thoughts your way!

    Your son.......well what can you not say about him...funny, sarcastic, witty, point blank,and a simple pleasure to talk with. I am certain that he is the apple in your eye. Someday I hope to meet the woman that has raised the bright young shining star that he is, and what he brings out in everyone else is amazing. His wit, humor, and remarkable savvy to circumvent his feelings to aid in his journey instead of hinder is remarkable. Only to be passed on through his mother that after raising such a remarkable young man most likely knows her way around just by having to raise him as you did.....You my dear deserve a Purple Heart...and your son, a heroes medal for the son he has become......for the remarkable young man he signifies every time he speaks.....Love to you both, Clift (Buzz)
