I posted last night asking for prayers for my husband as his surgery (LAR) was today.
THANK YOU to all who sent support! I appreciated your compassion!
It took twice as long as Doc expected but his words " it went great". I am thankful, so thankful. My husband is sleeping at the moment, he looks very peaceful.
Kids will come tomorrow, or the next day, it will be up to DH, daughter seems sad, but Nanny (grandma) is stepping in so hopefully she'll be preoccupied.
You are all in my prayers as well!

than "it went great". I am really happy for you + your husband. I hope you can get some rest.
"It went great" is what you want to hear. I am hoping that he recovers quickly and is not in pain.
Good Luck and keep us posted on his progress

Thankful
So happy and thankful that things went great during the surgery. So glad that you updated us on how your husband is doing. Will continue to pray for both of you and will keep checking on how he progresses. Take good care of yourself..I know that is hard to do...we put so much of our energy in taking care of our loved one but you have to stay healthy and strong to help him! Cancer is like a rollercoaster rider...so many highs and lows...don't concentrate on the lows but rejoice and be thankful of the highs.
Love ya,
