today. It actually felt strange to wear a bra after 2 months without one. The silicone breast forms looked great under my shirt. No one would ever know I had a bilateral mastectomy in June. I'm happy. I can do this. Of course, after DH & I got home from shopping I took the bra off and the forms back in their box. lol

Char .. Okay ... so now we can say that you
disposible boobies? Removal, or part time boobs .. what is appropriate? Forms sound so clinical ...

Regardless, I am happy and smiling that you were able to go out with your new part time boobs and have a good time .. no staring or looking at your chest is wonderful, right?

    Happy forms ...

    Hi Char!
Aren't the girls great? When I first got mine, I had everyone (and I mean everyone) squeeze the old girl and the new girl at the same time and no one knew the difference! You can dance, hug, look great in clothes.... In fact my bustline looks different and so much better than before with a proper fitting bra now....how about you?

    Hugs, Judy :-)

    Congratulations
I have 1 original and 1 new girl. Was fitted in July and isn't it a great feeling to go out and not feel self conscious. I wear my silicon boob most of the time - only letting her rest in the box overnight and then she's back on duty come morning. Not the same as the real thing but certainly is comfortable and makes me feel good. Congratulations to you!!!!

    I went to the movies
with my mom and 2 of my sisters who are bc survivors yesterday. We went to see Eat, Pray, Love. I wore a new bra and my new silicone girls. One of my sisters looked at me and said how are they??? I said they're perky and great, no sagging going on here :-) She asked if she could touch them and I said go ahead. She said firm, eh!

Today I went for my PET scan and since I couldn't have any metal on my body I went braless again!
